Who We Are
The RSAP leadership team consists of three directors and one administrative director.. The directors ensure the operational and executive functions of the program.
The main objective of RSAP is to expose all enrollees to the fundamental aspects of the research experience. The curriculum encompasses epidemiological and statistical methodologies while providing the resources needed to develop a relevant research question and formulation of a publishable manuscript. Upon completion of the program, enrollees are expected to present paper at a national meeting or publish in a peer reviewed journal.
As in all other rotations, “hands on” experience is pivotal to acquiring new competencies and through this approach we assist our enrollees in navigating the research field. Professional statistical analysis resources are provided along with monthly mentorship meetings to ascertain their varied needs and identify areas for improvement. The RSAP model has a 72% success rate and continues to expand it’s impact within the university setting.
